What we are looking for

We are looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join our agile and cross-functional team. Our team is building and improving services for our company's cloud platform. We are following the whole-team approach and would very much welcome your specialized knowledge and expertise in the team while giving you the opportunity to grow in areas you are not that familiar in.

Our Techstack

Our techstack consists of various parts using NodeJS, Python, Postgres and leverages AWS utilizing managed services such as Lambda, IoT, DynamoDB and more. We have a strong focus on automation. We select what is best for the task and are always looking to improve and take advantage of the latest technology and methodologies. If you see a better way let's use it!

Roles & Responsibilities

• Being part of a team that builds and improves shared services of our cloud platform
• Being involved in every aspect of the teams development process while providing guidance in your area of expertise (whole-team approach)
• Driving quality initiatives and establishing best practices for quality and test efforts in the team
• Support the team to maintain and monitor quality through exploratory testing and test reviews
• Participate in pair programming or debugging sessions
  

What you bring

• Common test frameworks in the JavaScript universe
• Performance testing tools like JMeter
• Writing automated tests using frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium
• CI/CD pipeline tool knowledge
• Software quality tools (Linting, Code Quality tools like SonarQube, …)
• Exploratory testing
